Freelie Excursion

Freelie is a small, young company that develops low-code applications. They are delighted to welcome Intermate to their office in Rotterdam on June 10th to build an application together!

Freelie operates as a small organization, where colleagues know each other well and communication is easily facilitated. The company specializes in Mendix (which will be demonstrated on June 10th) and Robotic Process Automation. Freelie's goal is to ensure that repetitive and routine tasks are handled by machines, allowing employees within organizations to focus on more engaging work.

For example, workflows at TU Delft have been optimized, and the performance of the City of Rotterdam’s parking application has been improved. These enhancements have made it easier for residents to park and allow customer service teams to focus on more meaningful and enjoyable tasks rather than primarily handling complaints. On June 10th, Freelie will demonstrate how quickly a functional application can be developed without using vibe coding, ensuring that security considerations are properly addressed. You are encouraged to think of creative app ideas in advance. And who knows, you might go home with a home made app that can, for example, track when your pet was last fed.
