Witteveen+Bos is an international multidisciplinary and independent engineering and environmental company of Dutch origin, with approximately 1,400 professionals spread over 20 offices in 11 countries. Witteveen+Bos is strongly connected to universities including the TUe, within this framework internships, and master thesis are part of our strategy.

Consultancy

Many organisations cherish the desire to improve or change their installations, information systems and workflows. Witteveen+Bos supports companies and organisations with strategic and practical advice to make the right choices based on the latest knowledge and state-of-the-art technology.

Our engineers and consultants work as knowledge - and sparring partners to translate the organisations ambitions into advice that can serve as the foundation for successful implementation.

“Those who follow an internship are often advised to join a large company. "There you can get to know lots of people", they say, "and also lots of different disciplines". In the past three months I have found that if I had to name two things you come across during an internship at Witteveen+Bos, it would be precisely those two things. You meet all sorts of people, from all sorts of different disciplines. That is nice. The people who gave me that advice turned out to be right. I found both things at W+B. But why do you need those two things in an internship?

Through those conversations with all those different people from different backgrounds, I learned more and more where my own enthusiasm lay, and what kept me going. A question to which I always found it difficult to find the answer. The people I got to know during the internship at W+B gave me a much better idea of which directions there are in the business world. More importantly, they gave me a much better idea of what directions I would like to grow to. So back to the beginning of this story: sometimes it is very good to listen to people giving advice. Then you will find out why they give that advice. “
